Care at McLean Hospital — Belmont Campus
McLean Hospital’s Belmont campus at 115 Mill Street includes The Pavilion, a residential psychiatric consultation, assessment and treatment program housed in the Wyman Building. This campus profile does not split McLean’s other Belmont program variants into separate centers.
Residential assessment and treatment
The Pavilion serves adults who need diagnostic clarification or a new treatment direction after complex or persistent psychiatric symptoms. During the two-week stay, the multidisciplinary team may use psychiatric, neuropsychiatric, neurological, psychological and neuropsychological assessment, medical and imaging work, and an overnight sleep study. Treatment can include individual psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mentalization-based treatment and family meetings.
Accommodation and daily life
The provider describes private rooms, individually prepared meals, fitness access, personal training, yoga and nutritional consultation on McLean’s hospital campus. Applicants should ask which tests, consultations and treatments are scheduled for their specific case and which services would occur outside the Wyman Building.
Official price
McLean publishes an all-inclusive fee of USD63,000 for the 14-day Pavilion stay, checked on 19 September 2026. The program is self-pay and does not accept insurance or assist with reimbursement. The original fixed package period is preserved here; no 30-day equivalent is calculated because the provider does not state that this package prorates.
Admissions and next steps
Admissions begins with telephone screening to determine clinical fit. Ask about safety exclusions, medication management, medical needs, family participation, included testing, the final written recommendations and who will coordinate the next treatment setting. Because The Pavilion is assessment-intensive and only two weeks long, arranging continuing care before discharge is especially important.
