Clinical Recovery

Editorial and clinical standards

Clinical Recovery is an independent research directory, not a treatment provider. We organize public information to help people compare programs and prepare better questions. We do not diagnose, recommend a specific center, or replace advice from a qualified health professional.

Standards last reviewed: 18 September 2026.

How we verify center information

Each center profile is built from identifiable sources and records the date those sources were checked. We prefer current provider-published information for location, levels of care, programs, accommodation, admissions details and fees. When an official fee is unavailable, a credible secondary source may be used and is labeled as such.

  • Provider-published: information from the center or its health-system owner.
  • Third-party estimate: a clearly attributed public estimate, not a provider quotation.
  • Calculated comparison: a transparent conversion from a published daily, weekly or fixed-duration amount. We state the assumption and preserve the original period.
  • Conditional: only part of a published range or a particular option meets the stated threshold; readers should confirm the applicable quote directly.
  • Price unconfirmed: no reliable current public fee was found. We do not infer price from branding, location or amenities.

A source check confirms what a source said on the stated date. It is not an onsite inspection, accreditation review, medical review or guarantee that the information remains unchanged.

Clinical terminology and treatment claims

We use level-of-care and treatment terms only when the source supports them. A provider’s description of services does not establish clinical effectiveness, individual suitability or availability. We do not publish guaranteed outcomes, success-rate claims without adequate context, anonymous testimonials as evidence, or rankings based on clinical results we cannot independently verify.

Licensure, accreditation and named clinical staff can change. When these details matter to your decision, verify them with the relevant regulator, accreditor and provider before admission.

Editorial independence and commercial transparency

Directory inclusion is not a clinical endorsement. Sponsored placement, if present, is labeled and does not change the factual verification standard. Editorial summaries are written independently and should not be read as a referral, diagnosis or personalized treatment plan.

Questions to verify before admission

  • Who completes the clinical assessment, and what credentials do they hold?
  • Which level of care is being offered at this exact campus?
  • Is medical or psychiatric coverage available around the clock when needed?
  • How are medications, withdrawal risk and co-occurring conditions managed?
  • What is included in the written fee, and what may be billed separately?
  • Which licenses and accreditations apply to this campus and program?
  • How are discharge planning, continuing care and emergency transfers handled?

Finding help safely

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States and its territories, call or text 988 for free, confidential crisis support. For U.S. mental health and substance-use treatment options, use the official FindTreatment.gov locator. Readers outside the United States should use their local emergency number and national health-service resources.

Corrections and updates

Programs, staff, accommodation, ownership and pricing can change. Confirm details directly before making a financial or care decision. If a profile appears inaccurate, send the profile URL and the supporting source through our contact channel; we review documented corrections and update the checked date when evidence changes.
