Luxury rehab does not have one standard monthly price. A small shared residential clinic and a residence staffed for one client buy very different combinations of treatment, accommodation and support. The useful number is a written quote for your actual clinical plan and length of stay.
This guide uses a few publicly stated fees to show how pricing works. They are selected examples, not a market average, a complete list of prices or a claim that higher spending produces better outcomes. Original currencies and billing periods are retained.

A week, 28 days and a month are different purchases
Four weeks contain 28 days. A calendar month can have 28 to 31 days, and a provider may sell a fixed program rather than charge by the day. Do not turn a four-week package into a 30-day quote unless admissions confirms the extension price.
For example, 30 nights at a stated EUR 990 nightly rate gives a simple accommodation-and-program budget of EUR 29,700 before VAT and other applicable charges. That arithmetic is a planning calculation, not a Montgó package quote. A provider may apply minimum stays or additional clinical costs.
Keep foreign-currency quotes in their original currency. If you need a dollar budget, use a dated exchange rate and allow for the actual bank conversion and payment fees. An exchange-rate conversion does not change what the clinic bills.
Ask what the residential fee includes
Request one schedule that separates clinical services, accommodation and extras. A high headline fee is still incomplete if it leaves out the care that the assessment recommends.
- Clinical work: assessment, individual and group therapy, psychiatric reviews, nursing, medications and tests.
- Accommodation: room category, private bathroom, meals, housekeeping and any companion room.
- External care: detox in a partner facility, hospital charges, specialist consultations, diagnostics and transport.
- Additional services: optional wellness activities, personal training, private transport or security arrangements.
- After the stay: follow-up consultations, family sessions, home-country coordination and any later return visit.
Insurance and self-pay need separate confirmation
Ask the insurer about the named legal provider, exact location and treatment level. Then compare its response with the provider’s written estimate. Do not assume that accepting an insurance enquiry means a program or a private-room upgrade will be covered.
The U.S. National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism recommends comparing equivalent treatment services and checking benefits and network restrictions. Its guidance concerns the U.S.; international and local policies can work differently. Read NIAAA’s costs and insurance guidance.
The quote to request
Ask admissions for a dated proposal naming the program, clinical scope, exact stay dates or number of nights, room category, total deposit, payment timing, known exclusions and extension terms. Request cancellation and early-departure terms in writing. If medical needs change, ask who approves and explains any additional charges.
Keep the expected program cost separate from a contingency amount for travel, external care and continuing treatment. Choose the contingency from the actual risks and exclusions in the offer, rather than applying an arbitrary percentage to every program.
Frequently asked questions
Does luxury rehab always cost more than US$20,000 per month?
No single label guarantees a price. This directory prioritizes expensive residential programs, but a provider’s exact quote must establish the amount, duration and inclusions. Some private services cost less and some individual programs cost substantially more.
Why do some clinics only provide a personal quote?
The proposed staffing, residence, treatment intensity, outside medical care and duration may vary. Ask for a complete offer after assessment rather than treating an unpublished fee as evidence of either affordability or exclusivity.
Should I choose the highest price I can afford?
Start with clinical suitability. Then decide which additional privacy or accommodation features matter to you. A larger budget should purchase clearly described services, not substitute for an explanation of the care.
